When to choose which
Canopy API fits better if…
- You only need Amazon and want to query it with GraphQL.
- You negotiate a volume discount – Canopy advertises automatic discounts but does not publish them.
everydata.io fits better if…
- You need more than Amazon: Walmart and European marketplaces such as Otto, Kaufland and Zalando under the same key.
- You want a lower list price per request at 5k–300k a month (€6.00 / €1.60 / €1.00 per 1,000).
Questions about this comparison
Why are the Canopy prices marked as list prices?
Canopy's paid plans mention automatic volume discounts, but the tiers are not published. We calculated with the published per-request prices, so the real price at higher volumes may be lower.
Does everydata.io support amazon.de?
Yes. The Amazon endpoints take the marketplace as a parameter, and German marketplaces such as Otto, Kaufland and MediaMarkt have their own endpoints.
